Dr Bithin Datta is one of the original researchers who had embraced the concept and exciting prospects of applying Systems Engineering approach to address the complex, large-scale, and often uncertain problem of managing water resources systems. Since his PhD completion in the area of Hydraulics and Systems Engineering (in Civil Engineering) from Purdue University, USA, Dr Datta has continuously devoted his time in teaching, research, and consultancy related to Water Resources Systems and its sustainable, economically efficient development.
